A Spanish researcher has developed a device for securing a handle on a tool. This universal adapter is used for holding brooms, mops and all kinds of other utensils used in household cleaning and gardening. It is adjustable from 18 to 24 mm. diameter. This universal adapter is made of injected PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for connecting to an aluminium tube handle. It is used for holding brooms, mops and all kinds of other utensils used in household cleaning and gardening. It has only two main pieces made of PVC: an external cap and an inner core. Three identical expansion clamps, a rubber ring, a 1-meter piece of aluminium tube with the adapter connected, this all measures 110 cm.
